Clayton Hinshaw, MD
Dermatologist
Dr. Clayton Hinshaw is a board certified dermatologist who has proudly served the Simi Valley community for 25 + years, with a special focus on dermatologic surgery and skin cancer treatment. He completed his dermatology residency at Charles R. Drew University and his internal medicine training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Hinshaw earned his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Dr. Hinshaw is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He has extensive experience in general dermatology, skin cancer surgery, and Mohs micrographic surgery, and is committed to providing personalized, high-quality care to patients throughout the community.
Lisa N. Oki, MD
Dermatologist
Lisa N. Oki, MD is a board certified dermatologist with more than 30 years of clinical expertise in medical and surgical dermatology. For three decades, she served as Simi Valley's sole full-time solo dermatologist, building a reputation for comprehensive patient-centered care. Dr. Oki earned her medical degree from UCLA, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency training through the combined UCLA-Wadsworth VA program, serving as Chief Resident from 1990 to 1991. In January 2026, Dr. Oki officially merged her practice with Clayton Hinshaw, MD at his modern medical office suite in Simi Valley, uniting two of the area's most trusted skin care experts.
Jordan
Medical Assistant
Jordan Branch is a Medical Assistant who enjoys helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for throughout their experience in the office. As a licensed esthetician, she also brings a strong appreciation for skincare and patient care. Jordan is proud to contribute to a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel valued and well cared for. Outside of the office, Jordan enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors with her fiancé and their dog, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Ruzanne
Medical Assistant
Ruzanne has had the privilege of working alongside Dr. Hinshaw for many years. With a strong background in medical assisting and surgical technology, she brings a deep appreciation for patient care and loves the surgical aspect of dermatology. She is excited to be working with Dr. Hinshaw again in his new practice, alongside his supportive staff. Her experience and commitment for patient care makes her a valued part of the Hinshaw Dermatology team. Outside of work, she enjoys balancing family life with her husband, daughter and son and staying involved in her children’s activities. In her free time, she enjoys road trips, spending time with friends, and relaxing at the beach, always with sunscreen, of course.
Shaina
Medical Receptionist
Shaina is the medical receptionist at Hinshaw Dermatology with over 5 years of experience. She loves helping people and connecting with others, especially when it comes to ensuring each person has a positive experience by creating a welcoming environment. In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, baking, and is currently learning Japanese!
Lyn
Billing Specialist
Lyn specializes in submitting claims, resolving claim denials, posting payments, and supporting patients with billing concerns. She plays an important role in helping ensure the billing process is handled accurately and efficiently. Outside of work, Lyn enjoys fishing, biking, and playing basketball with her family.
Monica
Medical Assistant
Monica has more than 25 years of experience working with patients across a variety of healthcare settings and roles, including women’s health, family practice, and dermatology. She enjoys connecting with patients and helping them feel comfortable, cared for, and welcomed throughout their visit. Monica is grateful to be part of a team that prioritizes compassionate care and is proud to contribute to a supportive, patient-focused environment. Outside of work, Monica enjoys hiking and giving tours at the Getty Villa Museum.
